Dear Baral
This was the first time I booked directly through the WEB , and I thought it's a little risky, especially when I had to send my money to Katmandu and I wend to Delhi .

Everest Base Camp Trek : Nepal
  17 Nights/18 Days

This trip is for the person who wants to trek high in altitude, see the biggest mountain on earth and can handle this fairly cold climate which exists at almost any time of year at this altitude.
Mt. Everest , otherwise known as Chomolungma (Tibetan, meaning Goddess Mother Mountain ) and Sagarmatha (Nepali, meaning One Whose Forehead Touches the Sky), the highest mountain of the world is the ultimate dream of all trekkers and mountaineers. Here we have a especially designed this trip to bring you to Kalapattar-the best viewpoint and also the base camp. Everest Base Camp is certainly the most loved trekking destination of Nepal but in terms trekkers' traffic is the second because of its accessibility.
After a breathtaking, 40 minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla in the Khumbu region, we land and have lunch at 9200 feet before beginning our trek to the Everest base camp. Along the way you will be inspired by awesome views of Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, ThamSerku, Lhtose, and Nuptse.

Everest trek is also popular because of Sherpa Villages and monasteries of Khumbu-the spectacular glacial valley below Everest. The Khumbu is surrounded by the mountains, including the isolated and magnificently chiseled Ama Dablam and double-summited Kangtega, whose great ice wall rears above famous Tengboche Monastery, the place you will treasure most on this trek. This wonderful Monastery, sits on a perfect saddle of land, providing full views of the mountains that await you. It is a magical spiritual place to explore. The other highlights of this trek is getting to know the friendly Sherpa people, visiting trailside tea houses, sipping home-made chang (beer made from barley) with new-found friends, and learning how Tibetan Buddhism influences every aspect of Sherpa life.

  Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (D)
Meet the guide at the airport and transfer to hotel. After refreshment, a short tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square-where you will visit the medieval Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari House-the temple of living goddess, Kasthamandap-the legendary wooden temple and many more..In the evening, dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with folk dance performance.

Day 02 Kathmandu (B)
Sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple , Boudhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist architecture and Bhaktapur-the city of devotees.

Day 03 Kathmandu-Lukla - Phakding B/L/D
Take early morning twin otter flight to Lukla-the gateway to Everest region and take gentle descent to Phakding for the day's camping. Alt: 2650m

Day 04 Phakding-Namche .

Today there is a long, steep climb up to the town of Namche Bazaar (11300ft, 3440m), the main administrative and trading center for the Khumbu region. The climb is, however, made easier by the distractions offered by the magnificent forests of blue pine, fir, juniper and rhododendron as well as our first views of Mt. Everest .

Day 05 Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar .

This day can be spent relaxing at camp, exploring the tiny shops in the bazaar and the local museum with exhibits of the flora, fauna, and history of the Everest region. You can also participate in an optional hike to some of the Sherpa villages nearby, such as Kunde and Khumjung, or take a more strenuous walk to Thame.

Day 06 Namche Bazzar-Tengboche.

Morning visit to the colorful Saturday market, where local and Chinese goods (brought over the high passes from Tibet ) can be seen and purchased. We then head for Tengboche, along a trail with spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse , Kantaiga, and Ama Dablam. We stay the overnight near the Tengboche Monastery at (3875m), one of the most impressive locations on earth. We will have the opportunity to explore the monastery and see monks at prayer.

Day 07 Tengboche-Pheriche.

The first part of the day is spent walking through lush rhododendron and pine forests. We eventually emerge above the tree line and continue for the rest of the day up the glacial valley until we reach Pheriche at 4240m. Some trekkers go to Dingboche at 4252m for overnight stay. En route we see some of the area's most beautifully carved mani (prayer) stones.

Day 08 Acclimatization day in Pheriche.

This is the second of the mandatory acclimatization days on this trek.

Day 09 Pheriche-Lobjuje

From Pheriche you will climb to the tiny settlement of Dughla (4620m), on the terminal moraine of the great Khumbu Glacier. Then an ascent higher on the moraine brings you to a row of stone monuments and the trail drops a bit and follows the westrn side of the valley to Lobuje, a summer village at 4930m. It is at the foot of giant Lobuche peak. Again the views are spectacular and the sunset on Nuptse, towering directly ahead of Lobuche is especially impressive.

Day 10 Lobuje-Kalapattar Peak-Gorakshep .

This will be one of the most difficult yet rewarding days of the trek. Most of this day is spent climbing Mt. Kalapattar , a small peak (by Himalayan standards) at 5545m. The ascent is demanding but the climber gets the most magnificent mountain panorama possible: Everest, the highest point on the planet at 8848m, towers directly ahead and on all sides loom the other giants, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others. If possible we can stay and watch the awe-inspiring sunset on Everest and its neighbors. We make a quick descent to Gorak Shep, a tiny hamlet at 5170m, where we stay the night.

Day 11 Optional trip to Everest Base Camp

If you are not exhausted, you can take the strenuous trip to the base camp at 5360m but is not as spectacular as the ascent of Kalapattar because there is no view of Everest itself from there. You will have to along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 17600ft, 5380m the closest you can get to Mt. Everest without mountaineering equipment. There will likely be a team there about to attempt the summit. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is spectacular. We return down to Lobuche for the night.

Day 12 Lobuche -Dingboche.
You will retrace down the way to Dingboche.

Day 13 Dingboche-Upper Pangboche .

From Lobuche we take a slightly different route down to Upper Pangboche . Here is the oldest monastery in the region, which contains what is said to be the scalp and bones of a Yeti, or abominable snowman!

Day 14 Upper Pangboche-Namche

We descend to join the main trail above Tengboche and continue on down to Namche.

Day 15 Namce-Lukla

Descend down to Lukla for our final night in the Khumbu. Although it may have looked primitive the first time through, Lukla will seem quite modern after the isolated villages up the valley.

Day 16 Lukla-Kathmandu

An early morning flight takes us back to Kathmandu , and gives us a last view of the mountains we
have just spent two weeks exploring.

Day 17 Kathmandu . B
A free day at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 18 : Departure
Transfer to airport for departure. .

What to Expect
Life on the Trail
The trekking day typically starts at 6:30 a.m. with the appearance of smiling Sherpas or a local at the door bearing a mug of steaming tea. This is soon followed by a large bowl of hot water for washing. Then it's time to pack your bags and sit down to a hearty breakfast of porridge, eggs, and toast. By 7:30 or 8:00 you're off on the trail.
For about three hours you'll walk through villages, forests, and up and down green hills and valleys. There's plenty of time to visit local teashops, stop for a view or a photo, and exchange a smile or greeting (Namaste!) with the friendly Nepali people who share the trail. A trailside lunch breaks up the day, giving you time to rest and refuel with a substantial hot meal prepared by the staff. After about an hour of eating, napping, and relaxing, it's time for the afternoon hike.
You arrive in camp/lodge around 4:00- p.m. and have time to wash up and get settled in the lodge before enjoying tea and snacks. The next few hours are free to write in your journal, read a few pages in a novel, play cards, engage in conversation, walk around the neighborhood or simply relax. The day closes with a hot, multi-course dinner that often includes ethnic cuisine as well as western favorites. Yak cheese pizzas and momos-Tibetan pot-stickers are the local speciality to try. After dinner you can gaze at the stars and the moonlit peaks, recount the events of the day, or retire to your bed to read for a while or doze off to sleep.

Trek Activity Level
All treks in Himalayas require good amount of fitness, be flexible,
energetic, active, positive attitude and have a spirit of adventure. On a scale from 1 to 5, we rate both of these treks between 3 to 3.5(moderate to strenuous in nature). One must be in good health, lead an active life and enjoy walking, even up steep hills (there is very little level walking in Nepal). If you are not optimally conditioned, we recommend that you start a training program at least three months before departure, gradually increasing the intensity and duration. Check with your doctor before undertaking any new fitness program.

All gear and camp supplies will be carried by porters or pack animals, leaving members free to carry only a light daypack. No technical climbing or other special abilities are required.

No previous rafting experience is necessary. We use oar boats only on this trip. Oar boats are guided entirely by the river guide and his helper, using 10-foot oars to steer and power the boat through rapids. Typically three participants sit in front and two in the back, throwing their weight from side to side to help keep the boat from tipping over. You will not need to paddle.

Before you go, we provide you with extensive pre-departure information, including clothing recommendations, suggested reading lists, up-to-date health advice, and other details from procuring visas to advice on local customs. Can we do this ?
