  Shey-Phoksumdo National park is situated in the mountain region of western Nepal covering parts of Dolpo and Mugu districts. Gazetted in 1984, it is the largest national park in the country with an area of 3555 Sq. km. The main objectives of the park are to preserve the unique trans-Himalayan ecosystem either its typical Tibetan type of flora and fauna, and to protect endangered species. Spring season (March, April, May) and winter (middle of October to end of November).
  Itinerary
 
Day 1
Flight Kathmandu-Nepalgunj. Overnight at Nepalgunj.
Day 2
Flight to Juphal. Trek to Dunai - 3 hours.
Day 3
Dunai-Sepka - 7 hours.
Day 4
Sepka-Ringmo or Phoksumda Lake (3600m) - 7 hours.
Day 5
Rest day at Ringmo Lake.
Day 6
Ringmo Lake-Bega La Base Camp (4500m) - 6 hours.
Day 7
Bega La Base Camp-Baga La (5070m)-Poyan Chu (3965 m) - 7 hours.
Day 8
Poyan Chu to Nahure (4033m) - 6 hours.
Day 9
Nahure-Jenj La Base Camp (4400m) - 6 hours.
Day 10
Jenj La Base Camp-Jenj La (5080m)-Namjung Chu (4150m) - 7 hours.
Day 11
Namjung-Sibu (4300m).
Day 12
Sibu-Namdo-Saldang - 6 hours.
Day 13
Saldang-Saldang Lake - 7 hours.
Day 14
Saldang Lake-Chun La Base Camp (4400m) - 6 hours.
Day 15
Chun La Base Camp-Chiun La (5080m)-Den Chu (4400m) - 7 hours.
Day 16
Den Chu-Shey Gompa (4200m) - 6 hours.
Day 17
Rest day in Shey Gompa.
Day 18
Shey Gomba-Sehula - 6 hours.
Day 19
Sehula-Sehula Bhanjyang (4400m) - 6 hours.
Day 20
Shehula Bhanjyang-Ringmo Lake - 6 hours.
Day 21
Ringmo Lake-Rohagaon - 6 hours.
Day 22
Rohagaon-Juphal (2500m) - 6 hours.
Day 23
