  Between Kathmandu and Pokhara are three major groups of peaks: Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Himal Chuli; and the large Annapurna Himal. This trek is recommended by many trekkers, at a convenient distance from Kathmandu and famous for the Tamang culture, spectacular views of mountains & rhododendron forests.
  Itinerary
 
Day 1
Drive Kathmandu-Dumre-Besi Sahar (610m).
Day 2
Besi Sahar-Baglung Pani (1524m).
Day 3
Baglung Pani-Ghanpokhara (1830m).
Day 4
Ghanpokhara-Telebrong Danda (2591m) - 4/5 hours.
Day 5
Telebrong Danda-Base Camp (3353m) - 5 hours.
Day 6
Base Camp-Rambrong Danda (3506m) - 3 hours.
Day 7
Rest day at Rambrong Danda.
Day 8
Rambrong Danda-Choprong (3292m) - 3/4 hours.
Day 9
Choprong-Yanjakot (1510m).
Day 10
Yanjakot-Modi Khola (750m).
Day 11
Modi Khola-Kalikathan-Pokahara (915m).
