The trek to Makalu Base Camp visits one of the most remote and unfrequented areas of Nepal. This is a long, arduous, trekking course.
Beware of altitude sickness, as there are many ups and downs; more over the pre-monsoon so you must be prepared for this to be the most difficult segment of your trek.
