  Kanchanjunga is the third highest mountain in the world. This trek leads you to spectacular high altitude scenery on the north side of Kanchanjunga. The trek is started from Basantpur, which is a large bazaar at 2200m on a ridge above the Tanmaya Khola, with a view of entire Kanchanjunga massif. Basantpur is accessible from Kathmandu-Biratnagar flight or Kathmandu- Dharan direct bus followed by a local bus ride. The itinerary goes as follow.
  Itinerary
 
Day 1
Kathmandu- Biratnagr earliest flight or Kathmandu- Dharan/Hile overnight bus. From Biratnagar or Dharan, you will take a local bus to Basantpur to stay overnight.

Basantpur-Chauki (2700m)

Cahuki-Gupha Pokhari (2930m)
Day 4
Gupha Pokhari-Nesum (1620m)
Day 5
Nesum to Thumma (1000m)
Day 6
Thumma to Chirwa (1190m)
