This was the first time I booked directly through the WEB , and I thought it's a little risky, especially when I had to send my money to Katmandu and I wend to Delhi .
An interaction programme was organized on June 28, 2005 with twenty Thai Tour Operators who came here for FAM tour to share their experiences during their stay in Nepal .
His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev inaugurated the Promote Nepal-2005 exhibition amid a special ceremony at the City Centre in Doha, Qatar, on June 14, 2005.
This is the shortest trek but offers good
mountain views, forests, birds and glimpses of traditional
village life of Gurung and other ethnic community of Western
Nepal.
Itinerary
Day 1
Pokhara-Tolka
You will drive up to Phedi from where
the trek commences on. You will be rewarded with
great views of the mountains that continue to improve
as you ascend along the ridge to Dhampus (1750m
at the top). You will have the day over in Tolka
(1810m) which is an small settlement.
Day 2
Tolka-Ghandruk
You will drop on a stone staircase
to the Modi Khola. It’s a long climb up a
rough stone staircase with high steps to the tiny
settlements of Yumle. A little more walk brings
you to Ghandruk at 1970m.
Day 3
Ghandruk-Nayapul-Pokhara
You will follow the trail south from
Ghandruk to Birethanti. Walk out to Nayapul and
catch bus or taxi to Pokhara.
Note: Minimum 2 days extra
required for transfers from and to Kathmandu.
