Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu.
Transfer to hotel. After refreshment sightseeing tours
to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. Overnight
hotel in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu Durbar square is a complex of palace, courtyards
and temples built between 12th and 18th centuries, used
to be the seat of mediaeval Malla Kings of Kathmandu.
This is an UNESCO protected world heritage site. Swayambhunath
Stupa watches over the valley from a height of 75 m from
the average level of Kathmandu. This is one of the holiest
Buddhist shrines in Nepal and its establishment is linked
with to the creation of Kathmandu valley out of a primordial
lake. This stupa, which is believed to be more than 2000
years old is also UNESCO enlisted World Heritage site.
Day 02
Kathmandu
Sightseeing tours to Pashupatinath, Bodhanth and Budhanilkantha.
Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu Shrines
in the world. Chronicles indicates the existence of the
shrine prior to 400 AD. The shrine lies on the bank of
sacred Bagamti River. The Bagamti River banks also serve
as cremation sites to Hindus. Bagmati River in Nepal is
considered as holy as Ganges in India. Bodhanath Stupa
is the biggest Stupa of this kind in the world. This is
also UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site. Bodhanath Stupa
and its surrounding have kept the Tibetan culture alive.
There are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries dedicated
to different sects of Tibetan Buddhism, in the vicinity
of Bodhanth Stupa. Budhanilkanth is situated in the lapse
of Shivapuri Hill at the northern end of the valley. The
hub of temple complex is a pond in which reclines on the
coils of serpent a giant Stone image of Lord Vishnu of
Hindus.
Day 03
Kathmandu-Nagarkot.
Sightseeing tours to Bhaktapur and Changu Narayan. Drive
to Nagarkot for overnight stay.
Bhaktapur, situated 14 km from Kathmandu is one of the
3 medieval principalities of the valley. The smallest
one but the best preserved, the city gives the impression
of a museum in itself. The mediaeval wooden, metal and
stone architecture of the houses, palaces and temples
still exist in their original form. The highlights of
Bhaktapur are Durbar Square with palace of 55 windows,
Golden Gate, Vatsala Durga temple, the Taumadhi Square
with a towering five roofed Nyatapola Temple and adjacent
Bhairab Temple. Datratraya Square with Datratraya Temple
and Pujarimath complex with famous peacock window shouldn't
be missed. Visiting Potter's Square is also worth visiting
where you can see the potters moulding wet clay into different
earthenware pots
Changu Narayan Temple lies 12 km east of the valley. This
is one of the finest and oldest specimens of pagoda architecture.
This is also one of the World Heritage sites.
Nagarkot , perched at the altitude of about 2000m, offers
an excellent Himalayan Panorama view on clear weather
day. Nagarkot lies about 18-km northeast of Bhkatapur.
Day 04
Nagarkot-Kathmandu.

Drive to Patan for sightseeing tours. Overnight hotel
in Kathmandu.
Patan is another mediaeval principality of the valley.
This is also and enchanting melange of palace buildings,
artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Enlisted
as World Heritage site, the former royal palace complex
is the center of Patan's religious and social life. Patan
City is full of monasteries, squares and temples. Golden
Temple, Krishna Temple, Kumbheswor temple, Mahaboudha
are highly religious shrines. The arts and architecture
of Patan is so marvelous that you will like going back
again there. Other attractions are Patan Industria Estate,
Tibetan Refugee camp and the Centra Zoo.
Day 05
Kathamandu
Sightseeing tours to Kirtipur, Dakshinkali and Chobhar.
Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.
Kirtipur is situated on a ridge, 6-km southwest of Kathmandu.
This is an ancient township and served as a natural fortress
and has a proud and courageous history. The Chilamchu
Stupa and Bagh Bhairabh temple are major sights to see.
Kirtipur offers quaint streets lines with artistic houses
and temple squares. The temple of Dashinkali is dedicated
to the Hindu Goddess Kali and is one of the most popular
places of worship in Kathmmandu. Located 22km from the
city, the site is crowded especially on Saturdays and
Tuesdays by the devotees who come there with animals to
make sacrifices. On the way back, you can have a look
at the mythical Chobhar Gorge which is the only outlet
of Kathmandu's water. The gash in the hills was made by
Manjushree with his mighty sword to drain the water outside
the valley.
Day 06
Kathmandu-Daman.
Drive to Daman along Tribhuvan Highway. Overnight in Resort.
Daman lies 75 km from Kathmandu Valley. Situated in the
altitude of 2400 m is the best viewpoint to 400km length
of Himalayan Panorama.
Day 07
Daman- Chitwan.
Early morning, you will go to tower to enjoy the Himlayan
Panorama view. After breakfast, you will drive to Chitwan
National Park. You will drive along the road carved into
the hills, winding, snaking and switching back. You will
pass by villages, farmlands and terraces of hills before
arriving Chitwan. Chitwan lies in the southern Terai belt
of Nepal, 160 km from Kathmandu. Royal Chitwan National
Park is Asia's one of the most famous games parks. After
having lunch, you will go for short walk tour to the villages
of Tharu Tribal people, most probably with a Tharu guide.
In the evening, there will be slides shows or cultural
dance presentation.
Day 08
Chitwan.
Today you will be kept busy in jungle safari activities
like Elephant Riding, Bird Warching, Canoeing etc. Overnight
in bungalows or camps.
Day 09
Chitwan-Lumbini.
After breakfast, you will drive to Lumbini, the birthplace
of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism and the Light
of Asia. Lumbini is situated in the Terai belt of Nepal
and is accessible by 5-6 hours drive from Chitwan. Visiting
Lumbini in fact is a form of veneration to Lord Buddha
who first acquainted with the 4 Noble Truths and laid
8 fold-paths to liberate the humankind from the ocean
of sorrow. In Lumbini, you will witness the birthplace
of Lord Buddha, marked by an Ashokan pillar, Queen Maya
Devi Temple, the Pushkarani Temple, where queen MayaDevi
took a religious dip before giving birth to Buddha. There
are ruins of ancient monasteries and stupas and also you
can see the new monasteries and stupas built by different
Buddhsist world like China, Korea, Japan, Myanmar etc.
Day 10
Lumbini-Tansen.
After a 4 hours drive along a rough hilly roads, you will
arrive at Tansen- a pristine hill town which is yet untouched
by mass tourism. It is situated at the altitude of 1371m.
The town sprawls over a steep ridge and attractive Newar
Houses line its cobbled streets. The hilltop of Srinagar
is a popular vantagepoint with Himlayan sightseers.
Day 11
Tansen-Pokhara.
After a drive of about 5 hours, you will arrive at Pokhara,
the second most popular tourist destination in Nepa. This
is the center of adventure. An enchanting city, nestled
in a tranquil glacier-rock valley at an altitude of 827m
has a lot to offer to visitors-caves, lakes, gorges and
viewpoints. The spectacular panorama of Annapurna range
forms its backdrop.
Day 12
Pokhara.
You will take a full day sightseeing tours in Pokhara
valley. That includes visiting temples, caves, gorges
and waterfalls and boating in lakes as well.
Day 13
Pokhara.
Early in the morning, you can drive to Sarangkot view
point (1600m) for a sunrise view over the Himalayan panorama.
Then, you can drive back or walk back to Pokhara.
Day 14
Pokhara-Gorkha.
Today, we are bringing you to witness the home of original
Gurkha warriors who have been famous in the world for
their bravery and honesty. Gorkha is also the ancestral
home to the Shaha Dynasty kings of Nepal who masterminded
the unification of Nepal form Gorkha. Gorkha's centerpiece
is the magnificent Dorkha Durbar that is a fort, palace
and a temple complex with excellent views of the surrounding
valley and Manaslu range of Himalayas.
Day 15
Gorkha-Kurintar.
Kurintar lies on Pokhara- Kathmandu highway on the bank
of Trishuli river. From Kurintar, you will take a breath
taking cable car ride to famous Manakamana Temple. The
ride is exciting and offers the view of the river valley
and Himalayan Panorama. Visit to Manakamana Temple gives
you an insight on the faith of Hindu devotees to their
goddess for full filling their wishes. Today, you will
stay in the resort of Kurintar, which is in the lapse
of beautiful nature.
Day 16
Kurintar-Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will leisurely drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 17
Kathmandu-Dhulikhel
Sightseeing tours to Bungamati, Khokana and Panauti Village
and Overnight in Dhulikhel. Bungamati, Khokana and Panauti
are typical Newari villages of Kathmandu valley. They
offer beautiful houses, courtyards and temples to see.
The most important thing you would love there is their
simple lifestyle which is still away from the modern amenities.
You will go Dhulikhel for an overnight stay.
Day 18
Dhulkhel
From Dhulikhel, it is an easy hike to legendary Namo Buddha
shrine. You will visit the local families in the villages.
Overnight in resort in Dhulikhel.
Day 19
Dhulikhel-Kathmandu.
Drive to Kathmandu and a free afternoon.
Day 20
Kathmandu
In the morning, you can take an optional mountain flight
trip over the Himalayas. Afternoon free for shopping.Overnight
