Day 01
Drive from Kathmandu to Baglung via Pokhara
Day 02
Baglung to Beni: Cross the river here and head up its West Bank, but the East Side is currently a little easier. Along here, you may see villagers making so-called rice paper from the bank of the Daphne Bholua Shurb (Nepali people called Baruwa or Kagat), which is collected up in the high hills here. The bark is pounded in to a pulp, and the pepper is made from the slurry that settles on a screen and dries in the sun. It is traditionally made from it there. If you see a family making some, ask to buy a few sheets locally. Continue north up the east bank, through Jimire, to Pharse, in 1 hour.Here there is suspension bridge (829m.) Over the Kali Gandaki. Decide whether to cross it, depending on the weather and time of day and weather you want to be in the sun. Assuming you crossed it to avoid the afternoon sun, your route will head north and pass through the towns of Taremaregoan, Ratnaachaur, Lamogara, Taagnebagar and Jaremare before coming to the Myagdi Khola in 1 and half hours. Here you cross the suspension bridge (823m.) And reach Beny, at the large town and administrative center for Myagdi district. Camp in fields beyond the village. You could also cont inue north up the Kali Gandaki and reach Tatopani with its hordes of trekkers, and go on to Thaka Khola, between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.
Day 03
From Beni pass Mangalghat where there is row of shops, then enter a desolate mountainside. Pass Jyanmara, which consists of a single teahouse; after the mountain path, follow a wide level path. Houses increase as you approach Singa with its shops and teahouses. The Myaddi Khola meanders beyond this village; you follow a short stony path along the left bank. Follow a raised path above the reversed, pass a hot spring below to the left, and enter cultivated fields to wide path that leads to Tatopani. Ten minutes beyond this village, cross a suspension bridge to the Right Bank, pass the teeny village of Bholamza, and go through the fields to another suspension bridge, which returns you to the left bank. Pass by Simarchor a little farther on and cross a suspension bridge over the Newale Khola that flows in from the right. Follow the Myagdi Khola left banks path pass the small village of Shiman and Talkot; climb a bit to Babichor (950m) with its Shops and teahouse. Camp on the grassy area next to the granary before the village.

Day 04
Cross a high, winding path on a mountainside out of Babichor. Terraced hills develop in the wide valley, paddies become plentiful, and the path is easy to walk, being either float of gently ascending. Pass stone- paved Shahasharadhara, cross the Duk Khola, and continue amid paddies. After Ratorunga with its shop and teahouse the wide terraced hills end. Follow a path along the river; pass Bodeny to Chachare with its teahouse. The terraced hills disappear on the opposite bank as well and the left bank of the narrow valley gently undulates up and down as you arrive at the large village of Darban with its rows of shops. Cross a suspension bridge to the Right Bank; past the tributary Ritum Khola to your left as you go to the right through the hamlet of Darbang. Follow the Right Bank path along the river at the base of stone cliffs to Phedi (1100m.) with its two teahouses. Through it is not a comfortable place, you must camp here for there is nothing suitable beyond this point until Dharapani.

Day 05
An earnest climb begins at Phedi; the long distance to Phedi Goan dictates an early start. Just beyond Phedi, and begin to climb a ridge on the opposite bank. As you zigzag up a steep hill, the angle of include gradually eases; soon you either a mountainside on the Myagdi Khola side from the pine – covered ridge path. Follow the gently rising mountains path to Dharapani, a heavily populated village. Once again climb a steep slope after which you descend a mountain path past Takum where cultivated fields spread over the wide mountain flank. From Sibang where there is a school, you pass through a forest, and continue past Mattim up and incline to the snout of a ridge where Dhaulagiri Himal is visible. Descend to the Ggatti Khola, then skirt around the ridge to Phalai Gaon (1810m.) where you can camp on the school ground before the village.
Phedi to Dharapani ------------------- 2hrs.

Day 06
Phalai Goan is a mountainside partially penetrated by the tributary Dhara Khola. To go to Muri, follow the stonewalled path a short way beyond Phalai Gaon, enter the terraced field to the right, and cross the Dhara Khola via a suspension bridge. If it is the dry season, descend the valley next to the school, walk to the opposite bank, and climb the steep hill for a shortcut. The main path ascend the mountainside from the suspension bridge, passes below the village of Dhara, and goes through a hamlet to an up and down mountain path to join with the shorcut described above. Through this is the long way, the path is better. Follow the mountain path and skirt around the ridge, emerging once again to the Right Bank of the Myagdi Khola. The mountain path continues, winding up hill and where you skirt around a ridge, a vista of Dhaulagiri I (8167m.) and Gurja Himal (7193m.) opens up. Pass through the large village of Muri where the houses o the Magar clan are closely packed together, descend a gentle slop, and cross a rocky stram. Descend a path amid terraced field to the Dhora Khola. Cross the river and climb to the right up the mountainside to Ghorban Dhara. The view from the pass is fine; for the first time you can see Ghustung south (6465m.). Descend to the Myagdi Khola, advancing along the Right Bank path to the single house where you will pitch camp in the surrounding fields. The village of Jugajpani is on the mountain path above the house.
Phalai Goan to Muri -------------- 2.5 hrs.
Muri to below Jugapani ----------- 2.5 hrs.
Day 07
Follow the ring bank path past Naura where you begin to ascend the mountainside. After
Climbing for a short while, taking a path that traverses the steep, grass covered hill. The Myagdi Khola assumes a steep- walked v- shape as the traverse end and a high winding path is well – constructed with a great number of zigzag stone step paths. At lasts the long climb ends, and you entrée a traverse to the right –here you must also beware of falling in to the gorge of the Myagdi Khola. Soon you descend through a forested area, emerging to a ridge snout where Boghara (2080m.) Is visible. Descend through terraced fields to this mountain village where you camping peopl’s yards or the terraced fields.
Below Jugapani to Boghara -------- 4.5 hrs.
Day 08
Descend through terraced fields, cross a small ridge on the left, and descends through trees
to Jardan, the most remote village. A high, winding path follows the village; cross a rocky area piled high with stones, then a grass covered traverse, finally descending a steep stone step path to the river’s edge. Follow the river for a bit, then climb a mountain path and cross a stream with a high waterfall to a Kharka. Follow a gently sloping mountain path to Lipshe with its single hut. The mountain path continues through a forested area with many ups and downs. Both walls of the Myagdi Khola are still steep, and an inflating stream becomes a waterfall. Continue along a vista- less path, emerging to a grassy area surrounded by trees, Lapche Kharka, where you will overnight.

Day 09
The mountain path continues to ascend through the forest. As you climb, the Myagdi Khola is
not visible; soon you arrive at the level area of Dobang. About ten minutes beyond Doband, cross a wooden bridge over the Konabon Khola which originates in the Konabon Glacier. Once again enter a forested area, and when the ascent become a descent, you able to seethe west wall of Dhaulagiri I between breaks in the trees. Soon the Myagdi Khola becomes visible; you descend to the river and cross a wooden ridge with a handrail. The left bank path passes through a wooded area also, but it climbs to the Pakite Khola without ever getting too far from the river, At the far reaches of this stream you see Jirbang (6062m.); cross the stream to a tableland where you soon arrive at Chartare (2820m.), your overnight camp site. A little stream flows through the middle of the flat land, making it an excellent Kharka (place) for camping; there is the framework of a hut still standing.
Lapche Kharka to Dobang ------- 1.5 hrs.
Dobang to Chartare ----------------3.0 hrs.
Day 10
Return to the forest from Chartare; after you pass two small bivouac caves, you leave the
Forest and cut across a rocky area. Climb the mountainside from the river, cross a small stream and continue a gentle climb to the Choriban Khola where you skirt around, finally crossing the stream to climb the opposite bank. To the rear there appears the white outline of Manapati (6380m). After crossing the steep hill the path narrow, climb a gentle incline through a forest to Puchhar, a small grassy area. Cross a small glacier and descend to a glacier that originates from the west wall of Dhaulagiri. Climb the opposite bank to a wide grassy area in a shallow ablation valley – this is Pakabon (3585m.), your campsite. Straight ahead you look up at the impressive west wall of Dhaulagiri I, to the right is Manapati, and to the rear the huge stone walls from Tsaurabong peak pres close. Truly you are deep in the Himalyas!
Chartare to Choriban khola -------- 3.0 hrs.
Choriban Khola to Pakabon -------- 2.0 hrs.
Day 11
Follow a lateral moraine from Pakabon , when this end at a rocky ridge, descend to the right to a valley buried in snow and fallen rocks. Both banks o the headwaters of the Myagdi Khola, your objective, become huge rock walls pressing in as the stream flows through a gorge. The steep mountain path of the Right Bank winds high, avoiding the gorge. Descend to the valley and continue through the impressive gorge. Follow the intermittent footpath to the terminal moraine of Chhonbarban glacier, entering the glacial area from the rocky Right Bank. Walk along the gently undulating glacial surface as the valley bends to the right through a large gorge. The vista opens up with Tukuche peak west (6837m.) Appearing at the far end to the glacier. The glacial surface leaves and become easy to walk on as you climb the gently slopping mid section. Just beyond this point, the glacier bends to the left so you take the Right Bank route. After a short up and down passage, you arrive at Dhaulagiri base camp (4750m.). You look up at the impressive north face of Dhaulagiri I while to the west the peaks of Dhaulagiri II (7751m.), III (7715m.) And V (7618m.) Stand tail, and before you are the desolate ice –fall descending from the northeast col.
Pakabon to Dhaulagiri base camp ---------- 6 hrs.
Day 12
While the round trip to French pass requires to particular mountain climbing skills, you must always beware of altitude sickness. After the glacier, climb a terraced hill on the Right Bank. Follow the terraced hill, which runs along the glacier for a short while, then climb to another higher terraced hill. Cut ass-root a mountain flank from the terraced hill and cross a moraine and lateral moraine that fall from Sita Chuchura (6611m.) Entering a gentle snowy incline on the right from an ablation valley. Climb this incline to French pass (5360m.) From which you see Sita Chuchura, the mountains of Mukut Himal, and Tashi Kang (6386m) all of that surround Hidden valley. To the right is Tukuche peak west and to the rear stands hugs Dhaulagiri 1. Camp at Hidden valley.
Dhaulagiri base to French pass ------------ 3 hrs.
French pass to hidden valley --------------- 2 hrs.
Day 13
From hidden at least you climb to Thapa pass (5250m.) and the mountain of the Mukut Himal becomes visible as hidden valley spreads out below. Wind down to the left descends to the campsite (4915m.).
Hidden valley to Thapa passes --------------- 1 hrs.
Thapa pass to Camp site -------------------- 2 hrs.
Day 14
A traverse along a steep mountainside from campsite to continue; skirt around the ridge to bivouac cave to Yak Khara. Dhulagiri 1 is hidden by Tukuche peak but Nilgiri is visible.
4915m Elevation camp to Yak Khara --------- 5 hrs.
Day 15
Take the path to Marpha from the Yak Khara. Continue descend to the left along a sandy, rocky incline, the continue along a steep mountainside zigzag path. Just as this long descending is about to end, you wind around a ridge to Alubari, which has several stone hunts. Cross a stream and take a mountain path that descends towards to left to reach Marpha.
From Marpha 3 hrs. Walk to Jomsom and fly back to Pokahra on day 16 or treks continue 5 days to reach Pokhara.
