The trip begins with a ride to the medieval Newari Town- Bhaktapur, which has well maintained its originality. After spending a couple of hours on exploring the historic temples, monastic complex arts and architectures, we continue onwards to Dhulikhel, along Kodari highway the only road that links Nepal with Tibet. We stay overnight in lodge in this panoramic place. The second day we cover 27 km with an altitude gain of 300m to Namobuddha along a dirt tarmac road, climbing and descending. According to legend, Namobuddha was the place where the Buddha, in a previous incarnation, gave his flesh to a hungry tigress as an offering. Leaving this hilltop, we plunge into the lush fields below, continuing on to the ancient village of Panauti, where the Buddha lived as a prince prior to his offering to the tigress. We follow a picturesque river on a mix of tarmac and dirt roads back to Dhulikhel. The third day, we ride 20 km througth the villages Banepa- Nala - Bhaktapur and finally to Kathmandu with an altitude loss of 200m.
