Day 01: Hotel to Khokana via Bungamati and Lele (about 35km) We will take you out of the Kathmandu’s crowded and polluted area to the Khokana via Bungamati and Lele viewing the Ganesh and Langtang Himals. Here you will experience the culture and the terraced field with farming, through traditional villages. Also Macchendranath temple, Vajra Varahi temple, Bishanku Narayan temple are the main temples. Chapagaon is one of many Newari villages which offer excellent views of Kathmandu on this route. Day 02: Khokana to Nagarkot (about 28km) Leaving the traditional Newari village, through terraced Land we ride to the medieval town of Bhaktapur.A steep jeep trackand a narrow ridge with a great single-track riding to the temple of Changu Narayan, a beautiful carvings to Lord Vishnu. Then descend to the North side to the Manohara River, continue north to the village of Sankhu and the Bajra Yogini (a Tantri goddess) Till Nagarkot Day 03: Shivapuri and Nagarkot (20km) A tiny village Jarsing Pauwa about 3 hrs rides on the ridge of Shivapuri offers you a view of Jugal Himal and again 3 hours ride to the Nagarkot with unbelievable views of Mountain range from Langtang to Everest. Day 04: Nagarkot to Panchkhal (descent 40km) An exciting descent along a single track, pass through ethnic villages of Tamangs with ancient shrines and panoramic views of the Himalayas. This is trial is little bit muddy(red) and slippery till Lamsai village. Continue to the Panchkhal following Chok Khola and Indrawati River.
Day 05: Panchkhal to Dhulikhel (about 37km) Enjoy the stunning view of Jugal Himal mainly Gaurishankar and the valley created by Indrawati and Sunkoshi rivers. Submit a famous Hindu goddess temple Palanchowk and back to Dhulikhel following the jeep track trial. Day 06: Explore Dhulikhel(about 30km, Namo Buddha) Along a dirt tarmac road, climbing and descending takes you to Namobuddha, the place where the Buddha in his previous incarnation, gave his flesh to a hungry tigress as an offering as the legends says. Through the villages Banepa- Nala we ride about 50 km and it takes about 6 hour of riding. Day 07: Dhulikhel to Sisneri via Panauti/Drive to Kathmandu (about 45km) Enter in the beautiful place Lakuri Bhanjang filled with green traced field under the soft and bright sunlight through Madhuban village with stunning views of Langtang Himalayas on a jeep track trial. After lunch on the way we will be at Sisneri Village which is the nearest point to enter the Kathmandu city and you will experience the cultures of Thakuris and Chhetris. Later drive back to Kathmandu by car/Van. Day 08: Final Departure Take memories of mountain biking in Nepal and travel back to your home.
