Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu . (D)
Transfer to hotel. After refreshment sightseeing tours to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. Overnight hotel in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar square is a complex of palace, courtyards and temples built between 12 th and 18 th centuries, used to be the seat of mediaeval Malla Kings of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath Stupa overlooks the valley from a height of 75 m from the average level of Kathmandu and is one of the holiest Buddhist shrines in Nepal.
Day 2 Kathmandu (B)
Sightseeing tours to Pashupatinath, Bodhanth and Budhanilkantha. Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu Shrines in the world. Chronicles indicates the existence of the shrine prior to 400 AD. The shrine lies on the bank of sacred Bagamti River which is venerated by HIndus as holy as Ganges in India. Bodhanath Stupa is the biggest Stupa of this kind in the world. This is also UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site. Budhanilkanth is situated in the lapse of Shivapuri Hill at the northern end of the valley. The hub of temple complex is a pond in which reclines on the coils of serpent a giant Stone image of Lord Vishnu of Hindus.
Day 3 Kathmandu- Paro-Thimpu (B/L/D)
Today, you will fly into Bhuan-the land of thundering dragon. The flight offers the spectacular views of the Himalayas, even the Mt Everest. Upon arrival at the Paro airport, our representative will greet you and drive you to Thimpu-the capital town. Overnight hotel.
Day 4 Thimpu. (B/L/D)
In the morning, you will visit the hospital for traditional medicine, Memorial Chorten and national Library. After lunch visit the Handicrafts centers and the School of Thangka Painting. Overnight hotel.
Day 5 Drive from Thimpu to Paro (B/L/D)
Drive to Paro where you will visit the fortified tower of Ta Dzong, now a natural history Museum, ruins of Drugyal Dzong that once guarded the invading Tibetan forces, and Kyichu Temple of 7 th century.
Day 6 Paro-Kathmandu (B)
Flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, transfer to hotel. After refreshment, sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur and Patan, two medieval sister principalities of Kathmandu which since then till today compete each other for their proud arts, crafts and architectures. You will visit the palaces, temples, stupas and monasteries.
Day 7 Kathmandu (B)
Today, you will have a free stay for your fancy-free shopping or optional tours of your interest.

Day 8 Drive to Nyalam (3760m, 122km, 6-7 hrs) (B)
Leave Kathmandu early morning. Breakfast stop in Dhulikhel, a 45 minutes drive. In total, Kathmandu-Tibet border is 113km through the villages, roadside bazaars and terraced hills and takes 4 hours to complete on normal condition. On an inclement weather day, you may come across the landslides, which can make you walk across and change to a locally available vehicle. After clearing immigration formalities in both the Nepal and China side, we will continue to Nyalam. Meals and accommodation in guesthouse.
Day 9 Nyalam-Lhatse or Xegar ( 4350m, 287 km, 7 hours) (B)
Drive to Xegar crossing Nyalam Pass (3800m) and Lalung La Pass (5050m). This drive offers fantastic view of the high mountain including Mount Everest. Overnight hotel
Day 10 Lhatse to Shigatse [3900m, 157km, 5 hrs] (B)
Today, you will drive to Shigatse-the second largest city of Tibet. This is where the famous Tashilunbo Monastery is situated. Overnight hotel.
Day 11 Shigatse to Gyantse [3950m, 86km, 2 hrs] (B)
In the morning, visit the Tashilhunbo Monastery-the seat of Panchen Lama, one of the largest functioning monasteries of Tibet, before driving 90km to Gyantse. After refreshment in the hotel, visit the Pelkor Chode Monastery and the Gyantse Kumbum-the large gold-domed stupa that houses an impressive array of Tibetan Buddhist murals.
Day 12 Gyantse-Lhasa [3650m, 264km, 6hrs] B
Today's drive is the most spectacular one and involves crossing of a high pass-Karo La [5045m].You will stop for lunch in Nangkartse- a small, developing town,beyond which the road follows the bank of a beautiful turquoise lake, the Yamdrok-tso, for about 60km.We bid farewell to the beautiful lake from Kamba La [4794m] and at the same time we are greeted first time by the view of Lhasa Valley. Overnight hotel.
Day 13 Lhasa B
We will spend these two days visiting several of Lhasa's many monasteries-such as Sera and Sera, Potala Palace-the seat of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Norbu Lingkha Palace-the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, Jorkhang Temple, Barkhor Market etc. Overnight hotel in Lhasa.
Day 14 Lhasa-Kathmandu. B
You will be transferred to Gonkar Airport (96km) for flight to Kathmandu.
Day 15 Kathmandu- Departure
Extension to Chitwan National Park and Pokhara
Day 16 Kathmandu- Chitwan.
Kathmandu- Chitwan
Day 17 Chitwan.
Today you will be kept busy in jungle safari activities like Elephant Riding, Bird Watching, and Canoeing etc. Overnight in bungalows or camps.

Day 18 Chitwan- Pokhara.
After a drive of about 5 hours, you will arrive Pokhara, the second most popular tourist destination in Nepal. This is the center of adventure. An enchanting city, nestled in a tranquil glacier-rock valley at an altitude of 827m has a lot to offer to visitors-caves, lakes, gorges and viewpoints. The spectacular panorama of Annapurna range forms its backdrop.

Day 19 Pokhara
You will take a full day sightseeing tours in Pokhara valley. That includes visiting temples, caves, gorges and waterfalls and boating in lakes as well.

Today, you will drive back to Kathmandu and take a free afternoon for preparation to the journeys to Bhutan.
