Mandawa is an open air art gallery of beautiful castles and stunning havelis(Villa) also a capital city of Shekhawati region which is about 257 km from Delhi and 190 km from Jaipur in the northeast part of Rajasthan. The showcase of the finest specimen of frescoes, murals paintings city was founded in the mid of 18th century by Bhojraj Ji Kasubsub clan of Shekhawat Rajputs.

Khajuraho

The fascinating temple is very famous for its unique erotic sculpture which is about 620 km from New Delhi. It’s not only one temple but the whole area in the center state of Madhya Pradesh of India. History shows that originally there were 85 temples, of which only 22 still exist now and these temples were constructed between 950 and 1050 A.D. during the reign of Chandel Empire.

Most of the temples are built of sandstone in varying shades of buff, pink or pale yellow. Jaipur

The first planned city according to ancient Indian Bastu Sastra was founded by a Rajput king, Sawai Jai Singh II in AD 1727, located west of Delhi on the desert of Rajastan. India Gate

The 42 Meter high archway made of red stone is a war memorial monument of the former British Indian Army who died for the Indian Empire in World War I and the third Anglo-Afghan Wars, located at Rajpath in New Delhi. More than 70,000 names of soldiers are inscribed on the arch and the designer of this was Sir Edwin Lutyens. In 1921 the foundation stone for this India Gate was laid by the Duke of Connaught and completed in 1931. After India's independence, India Gate is being the landmark of New Delhi and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Delhi.

Rajghat

Rajghat is the cremation place of great political leader Mahatma Gandhi, who had played a vital role in making India an independent country from British. Rajghat area is surrounded by trees and you will feel an exotic shrub, comprises a simple black-marble square platform that stands on the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, is another most visited sites in Delhi. Nearby, you will visit also cremated sites of popular politicians of India like Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri in green and peaceful harmony.

Lotus Temple

Lotus Temple, a particular architectural masterpiece of the modern engineering and architecture, is among the most visited monuments in India, located at Kalkaji in New Delhi, was completed in 1986 and the credit goes for this beautiful Remarkable Architecture structure to the Persian architect Fariborz Sahba from Canada.

Qutub Minar

The Qutub Minar is a fluted red sandstone tower, which tapers up to a height of 72.5 meters with 399 steps leading to the top and is covered with intricate carvings and verses from the holy book Quran, located in a Mehrauli in South of Delhi which was built in 1193 by Qutb-ud-din Aibak who is considered as the first Muslim ruler of South Asia. Numerous inscriptions in Arabic and Nagari characters in different places of the Minar’s  gives the historical information and the storied are surrounded by a projected balcony encircling it’s and supported by stone brackets, which are decorated with honey-comb design.

The construction of this monument by a Muslim ruler, paved the path for the Indo-Islamic style architecture which were commonly found in India.

Red Fort

Constructing on octagonal shape, Red Fort is one of the magnificent structure with its glorious history fort built in 1639 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan on the banks of Yumana.

It took eight years to complete this building within the fort one can visit: Diwan-i-Am (hall of public audience), Diwan-i-Khas (hall of selective audience), the Hamam (the bathroom set), Moti Masjid (pearl mosque), Mumtaz Mahal (one of the main palaces), Naubat Khana (music house).

National Flag of India is hoisted at the Red Fort every year on 15th of August by the Prime Minister of India on its independence day from the British rule.
